No 15: On 22 March 1907 he brought out a curious tractor biplane with wings made of okoume wood ply sheeting, a large dihedral angle, 5 side-curtains; 2 long bamboo outriggers, one above the other, carried the biplane tail cell and its 2 rudders. The engine was mounted on the top wing with the pilot sitting below it; a single forward wheel and complex tailskid, aided by wing skids, supported the machine on the ground. Forward elevators were to have been fitted, and ailerons later were added, set outboard and forward of the wings. On 27 March, at St Cyr, it was wrecked while taxiing.

   No 16: In the meantime he built a dirigible, which does not strictly belong in this account, except that a 100 hp Antoinette was mounted with a small wing behind it; this motor was later replaced with 2 small 6 hp motors on outriggers, and photos of this arrangement - the car with the twin engines - are sometimes confused with one of his heavier-than-air designs.

   No 17: His next heavier-than-air machine was a development of No 15, and powered with the same 100 hp Antoinette ordered for the earlier machine. Again, the plywood wings and high dihedral; but the tail of this one was mounted on a long rectangular-section frame. The engine was set onto the leading edge of the lower wing, and the machine rested on 2 main wheels and 2 V-struts with a cross-axle. Sometimes reported not to have been built, No 17 was indeed begun but not completed.

   No 18: This was a wingless 3-float hydroplane with the same 100 hp Antoinette and the big 3-bladed propeller from No 17 mounted high and forward, and the driver at the wheel at the very stern. Photographs of this machine are sometimes confused with those of a flying machine experiment.
