В 1912 году дипломированный инженер Микль (Mickl) спроектировал и построил для военно-морского флота сухопутный самолёт с высоко расположенным пропеллером. После наземных испытаний с шасси он был поставлен на два поплавка. В этом виде гидросамолёт впервые полетел в сентябре 1912 года. В августе 1914 года выведен из состава.
