  Although designated Pfalz C I, this 1917 machine was in reality a licence-built Rumpler C IV with small refinements added by the Pfalz Flugzeug-Werke. The main distinction of the Pfalz-built machine was the fitting of ailerons at all four wingtips and additional struts bracing the fin to the tailplane. Engine, 260 h.p. Mercedes D IVa.
